Warhawk Dining Events
As the Marketing Manager for Warhawk Dining, I developed and executed strategic marketing initiatives to enhance student engagement, brand awareness, and dining service promotions at UW-Whitewater.
Winterfest
For this project, I designed a formal yet fun winter-themed brand for UW-Whitewater University Center's Winter welcome party. My responsibilities included creating both printed and digital signage, along with all the social media graphics. The campaign was a success and won the award for Best Social Media Campaign at the NACA St. Paul 2023 Graphics Competition.
2023 Typographic Calendar
When creating this calendar, I drew on my bartending experience to craft each cocktail. As you progress through the months, you will notice a new cocktail gettig less and less full, to represent the passage of time. The biggest challenges in this project was creatively incorporating the first letter of each month within each cocktail's garnish.
Kindness Springs
My class was tasked with creating a water bottle brand for a charity focused on providing clean, sustainable water access. After establishing the brand, we designed the water bottle they would sell and created an infographic showcasing various facts about global water access. The company, Kindness Springs, is dedicated to promoting worldwide accessibility to clean water.
UWW SOAR
At the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, incoming students can participate in an event called SOAR. During this event, new students tour the campus, enroll in their first semester of classes, and go around a table fair to talk to various university groups/organizations. In 2023, I got to design the new marketing material for the University Centers' booth. This project included creating four large banners, flyers, handouts, branding, and other promotional items.
Space Out
In this project, I created a design for a mock app called Space Out. The app's sends users a random notification once a day, prompting them to stop what they are doing and write in their online journal using that day's provided prompt. All design choices for this app are to help the user relax during their journalling.
Sweet Spring Pattern
This project features a repeating pattern with graphic illustrations and two complementary typographic patterns. I chose insects and pastel colors to create a light, fun spring design. I began with a main pattern incorporating butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs, and bumblebees. Then, I used typography to create different patterns that evoke the same feeling as the main design, resulting in a cohesive set.
University Center Projects
While attending UW-Whitewater, I worked at the James R. Conner University Center in the Graphics & Marketing department. As a graphic designer, I created numerous posters and digital formats for various events held in the building throughout the year. Here are some examples of those events and designs I created.
Freelance Logo Design
Here are a few logo designs I’ve created for different family members. My dad wanted a logo for him and his hunting group. This Fred Bear logo is in the shape of his hunting land. My sister used to run a snake breeding business and asked for a logo to go with it. My aunt runs a cancer fundraiser and needed a logo for signage.
