Hi, I'm Kenny McCarthy, a graphic designer from Wisconsin with a passion for bold, playful designs and a love for creating memorable brand experiences. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and a Minor in Digital Marketing, which has helped shape my approach to design. My journey into graphic design began in high school when I took an Adobe Photoshop course, and from there, I was hooked. In 2021, I began working at my University Center's Graphics & Marketing office, focusing on branding, illustration, and event/poster design. I’m proficient in the Adobe Suite, and my process typically starts with research and sketching ideas before translating them into the digital world.
One of my proudest moments was working as a Marketing Manager for Warhawk Dining, where I had the opportunity to combine my design skills with strategic marketing. Outside of design, I enjoy hiking, sketching, and exploring new areas. Ultimately, what drives me in my career is seeing people stop and take a second look at something I've created—whether it's a logo, poster, or branding concept.
